Matsuno San found part of his hair clipper was damaged, so he tried to restore it with 3D scanners and 3D printers instead spending lots of money and time of sending it back to repair service center.
Process:
- Scanned the broken part by the auto scan mode.
- Got the 3D data in minutes and meshed the data.
- Exported the STL. file to the 3D design software. Copied the complete side data and combined by the mirroring function.
- 3D printed out the new part of hair clipper.
With the restored part, the hair clipper was able to work again with complete parts. Saving the cost of repair fee as well as the time of transpiration, 3D technologies helps us perfect our daily life.
